My name is Tatiana Piatanova. I have been in the exciting field of Instructional Design for over nine years. Before my career in Instructional Design, I was a graphic designer and an educator for numerous years. My technical skill set includes a wide variety of software applications including Adobe Creative Suite (for print and the web), MS Office, Google Apps, and multimedia presentation tools. I am skilled in the front-end administration of Blackboard, Moodle, WordPress, Adobe Connect, and Zoom. My experience in instructional design ranges from the creation of asynchronous eLearning courses, screencasts, training modules, and websites to the integration of web-based technologies into learning experiences and the facilitation of workshops. I also have experience in program expansion, growing application user base, achieving user buy-in, and providing technical support (hardware and software).
In my free time, I enjoy exploring numerous hiking trails with friends, running, graphics and web design projects, photography, reading, knitting, and occasionally painting. I also teach Implementing Internet Tools and Technologies – an online asynchronous course at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. I have an  M.
