The term &#8220;blog&#8221; has come to represent just about any site that is created by individuals (though these individuals might be affiliated with, sponsored by, or even working for, a company) using easy software that allows them to publish quickly without needing special technical skills. Elementary school students often blog!<\/p>\n<p>In short, like the revolution of the printing press that made it possible for the mass production of books, magazines, and pamphlets, blog software has enabled anyone who desires to become a web publisher. And like the invention of the printing press, it has created a revolution in content. No longer is web publishing and quality content limited to &#8220;the big guys&#8221; and big media!<\/p>\n<p>Using free services, anyone can be up and running with their own blog in just a few minutes&#8230; at no cost!
