This is a part of collaboration assignment with Heidi Olson, Collaborative Spaces: Wing It!
Create a collaborative space for a group discussion using an online tool you haven’t used before. You can read reflection on Spaces in Metathink post: http://ghostandpenny.com/ed654/metathink/
Here is a screenshot of the space we made:

You can view the real space here (you have to sign in with your Google account):
I haven’t heard much—or I’ve missed it—about what you all actually thought of Spaces itself as a tool. What did it provide? Where was it lacking? Would you recommend it? What should people using it keep in mind? What kind of activities might it be most useful for?
It provided a very easy way to share resources (links, images, text), comment to others, and share your own thoughts (which of course could be argued many other applications do as well). What sold me on Spaces is their Mobile app. Once you figure out what the icons mean it is incredibly light and user-friendly. Everything is done from one place, there is no navigation between different components. And since everything is tied to one account on the phone it saves a lot os time and hustle trying to log in with proper identity. I would highly recommend this app to anyone who is collaborating with other people on a project while spending a lot of time away from their computer. In my case, it was a life-savior. I was able to run in-between meetings or walk my dog and do homework at the same time 🙂
