Reflection and Self-Reflection Rubric:
Clarity: The language is clear and expressive. The reader can create a mental picture of the situation being described. Comparison explanation makes sense to an uninformed reader.
Analysis: Viewpoints and interpretations are insightful and well supported, expressed in an appropriate style, and are clearly related to the topic. Students’ position/perspective is imaginative, taking into account the intricacies and controversies of the topic (different roles and techniques and other content curation issues).
Relevance: Reflection is meaningful and demonstrates connections between the knowledge gained from learning materials (assigned articles and video tutorials) and students’ personal feelings and experiences with the issues.
Self-Criticism (Comments): Students are able to empathize and recognize the value of points of views of others. Considerations of other students’ perspectives raise a question of students’ own biases and preconception.
