I am on the kick of setting my condo further. I love designing spaces and spend a lot of time at home, so I really need a beautiful and comfortable space to exist in. The living room is finally complete with a new, beautiful, and super comfy sleeper sofa (for visitors), pillows, and lamps. Now I moved onto the bathroom. The key to designing spaces is not to overcomplicate, and to do it intuitively. Your gut and the eye will tell you if it’s right. It is different for everyone.

For the bathroom, it could be a new shower curtain and a rag, and the color of the towels. You would be surprised how much it transforms it! But my long-term goal for it is to replace the sink and the counter, and then paint the vanity to accentuate my beautifully tiled floor.

I even considered working freelance as an interior designer because it is my passion. And I really miss my art exhibit curation job. It was the best job I ever had. Unfortunately, I could not make it on the salary. I currently do freelance work for graphic design, and it keeps my creativity going. I am not disappointed in my present job as an Instructional Designer. I like to work with faculty and do technical stuff, and it pays for my mortgage, good food, and Star’s medical issues.

I am not doing much art as of late. Kind of ran out of things to say in my two series, and frustrated by the confines of the paper size. I long for a big canvas so that I can paint with my entire body. The small size of the paper is killing me. And I completely forgot how to draw the human body. I used to be so good at it, and all of my work was figurative. But it has been about 20 years since I last did it. And of course, once again, the paper size constraints. I hate working with only my wrist. My friend recommended copying the masters to get back into it, and this is what I plan on doing. I know it will help and will keep me going.

That is an update for today.
