I have not written for a while. Just got lazy and caught up with work. Plus, my every day is the same to the point that I sometimes don’t know what date it is and what day of the week it is. There is comfort in it as I don’t deal well with change but it also is boring like hell.

I got addicted to Quora. It is evil and full of trolls but I am actually learning a lot as often I have to Google information for my answers. So, I consider it a learning experiment. Probably partially responsible for me not writing here.

I started running again with my bestie but after the first two weeks my knee gave out and I had to take a break. It’s hard to get back into it after breaks. Still working up my motivation for core-engaging exercises. Lazy. Just lazy. I don’t know what happened. I used to do it religiously with absolutely no problems…

I am finally in love with my house! It took a couple of months to get used to the idea that it is mine! Now I am planning a couple of projects. One is installing laminate instead of carpet and another one is renovating the bathroom. The bathroom renovation won’t happen for a couple of years as it is super expensive but the laminate I can do right now as I have enough savings to do it. I am going to wait for a little bit as the carpet is new and does not look bad but the linoleum in the kitchen is starting to crack as it is 11 years old. My condo was built in 2011. There is still an issue with the window in my studio space. It needs channel balance but I cannot find the right one on the web. I might just get a handyman for that although I am more than comfortable installing in myself. Speaking of doing things by myself I am proud to say that I fixed the plumbing in the bathroom and my terminal heater pump all by myself. It feels good to do it yourself. There is something magical in acquiring a new useful and tangible skill.

My doggo turns 11 the other day… I cannot believe it. He is still going strong and we walk for at least 2 hours every morning. I hope he stays strong. I think moving is the key to wellbeing and long life not just in doggos but in humans as well. I hope he thinks his life is happy. I hope he knows just how much I love him and how much joy he brings to my life. However, he will be my last doggo for a while. I want to travel and it is impossible because he is special needs and does not do well in the boarding facilities. The last time I left him there for two days he tried to eat his way out of the kennel. Broke a tooth and files others to almost nothing. I will never do it again. There is of course an option of a dog sitter but it gets so expensive to the point that it eats into my travel budget. So, this is where I stand on the travel.

Other than that, there is really nothing new except for a cake for my furry love.
