Today’s task was to “take a cold shower.”
Never ever again! It was brutal! It felt like even my soap was frozen. However, it did wake me up to the point that I did not need coffee. But my limbs were frozen so I probably would not have been able to lift a cup of coffee to my mouth anyway. After toweling water from my body it turned a pink color all over and I was about to go to a doctor as being pink (although being orange is much worse) is not a normal way to go about your life. But it only lasted half an hour and thank god I did not have any Zoom meetings at that time. I found that if people see your unique color they tend to freak out as they don’t know how to treat you and reverse to the equity, inclusion, etc. talk. I am human, hear me roar. And no, I don’t advertise my pronouns because I am human and perfectly OK with whatever they call me (I have short hair and often get mistaken for a man because I am so tall or a lesbian. Both don’t bother me). I know this is perhaps not the most popular opinion and many do need pronouns to let the world know that they are gender fluid. And I support that and respect that! Along with gender-neutral bathrooms! (not trying to be funny here). Anyhow, back to the cold shower (have no idea why it got derailed). Do not recommend it unless you want the soap to stick to your body because your body is frozen and so is soap. Physics.
