This is crazy. I cannot believe it is the end of January already. Where did the time go? Not too much has happened since my last post. I got over the ridiculous breakup with my bestie and now feel liberated instead of angry. I don’t have to deal with her husband anymore! We never liked each other and under his “nice” exterior hides an absolute passive-aggressive asshole which he becomes towards me when his wife is not around. That should tell you a lot. Anyhow, I don’t have to go to social gatherings that have conversations I cannot participate in (politics) and have absolutely nothing to add to the conversation. Had it been about books or art I would have a lot to say… Anyhow, done and forgotten.
Opee turned 13 and I already dread the day when he will have to pass over the rainbow bridge. My vet said that he will probably make it to 16 at least because he is in such great shape.
My car as of late has a mechanical problem. I have not gotten the estimate yet but I think it will be in the thousands… I am debating about the repairs as they might exceed the value of my car and whether to buy a new one. After all, my car is over 10 years old and served me well up until this point… Her name is Kim Yuna after the Korean figure skater and a celebrity in South Korea seeing how it is a KIA. Before the break up my ex-bestie kept asking if my car is OK (I have no idea why except she always looked down on my KIA and told me it was a bad decision and I should have bought a Subaru (which I hate as it is for yuppies with their stickers “Coexist”. I think they come with Subarus.)) Anyhow. I think she jinxed it. I guess I have to blame someone.
As per the requirement of my blog, it should be 20 lines and I think I exhausted them all. I will be more diligent in writing from now on. And of course, I am going to pick up “This Book Will Change Your Life” tasks. Be on the lookout for them as they might change your life as well.
