Today’s task was to “buy your own grain of sand in the Bahamas.”
Apparently, there is a price range:
1. Grain of sand near the beach toilets – $1 (convenient but no. there will be so many people stomping on it)
2. Grain of sand under a palm tree – $2 (tempting as it is hot but don’t want to exist in the shade at all times)
3. Grain of sand near a bar – $4 (that’s the winner! How can you not?)
4. Grain of sand in the sun – $5 (too hot for this thick-blooded body).
Apparently, for your purchase, you will receive a certificate of ownership with a picture of your grain of sand and a map showing the location. Groovy. Also, a 20c voucher for a cocktail of your choice at the Big Eddie’s Exuma Beachbum Bar (yay!). I now can brag about it with the proof.
