I signed all the ESCROW paperwork for my house yesterday!!! Woo-Hoo! I was drinking champagne afterward and treated myself to sushi. I cannot believe that everything house-related just became a reality! My closing fees also went down almost $500 because of some other discount. I am so so so happy about that. Every bit helps. I was living on a credit card thinking it would be about $2000 more and now I can pay it off. It all miraculously worked out. My payment is not due till December 1st which means I can comfortably pay the rent for November even though I would be moved by then. However, I am not turning my keys to the rented apartment until November 30th because I don’t want the fuckers to rent it during November because I paid for that month. I truly hate these money mongers.

My new house is only 5 blocks away from where I am currently and close to all trails I walk with Opee so it won’t be a drastic change for him. The things we do for our dogs…

In a nutshell, it all worked out which I still cannot believe. The whole process was actually easy. I had a great team of people working on it with me. Honestly, I do not believe it’s almost over. I just need to wire the rest of the closing costs money and then get the key.

One of my best friends is coming to visit in February. In many ways, it actually inspired me to get a 2 bedroom house (of course along with the rent raise). And the fact that I need a studio. Anyhow, I am so excited about her visit. She will be the first visitor to try out a futon from Walmart that I am going to buy. Hopefully, my sister will come after that from Belarus. Anyhow, it is all good and set up for visitors and hopefully, I will get many.

Besides that, the other aspects of my life are pretty slow. I broke my second toe and cannot run yet or do pushups so all of that is on hold. But the weather is permitting me to run so far so maybe in a couple of weeks I’ll do it as long as it does not hurt in a shoe.

On another note, I am watching films with my bestie via texts. It is simply wonderful. Not only does it connect us better than sitting in a theater and not being able to talk during a movie in this case we actually can and it makes the whole movie-watching experience even more so enjoyable. I highly recommend for remote friends if you have any.

Well, I should wrap it up. I am over 20 lines. Back to reading Haruki Murakami because work is unbearably slow.
