Today’s task was to “send a message in Morse code out of the window and see if anybody notices.” It’s a dreary dark gray day today so I did not have to wait till the dark. Now I have to find a flashlight to do the code. First I had to learn what dots and dashes are. Turns out that the circle is the short signal and the dash is a long signal. So far so good and seems pretty easy. Now, I had to go to the Morse code alphabet so that I know which letters are which combinations so that I know what I am saying. You can find the alphabet here in case you need to use it in an emergency: https://the-daily-dabble.com/morse-code-alphabet/
But my “Change Your Life” book already provided the message. What a relief.
Here is the message:
1. Just Testing .— -..- – – / – . … – .. -. —.
2. Good evening —.—- —- – .. / . …- . – . .. – . —.
3. Fancy some fun? .. -.– .-.-.— / …—-—. / ..-. ..- -. ..—..
4. Only kidding —- -. .-.. -.— / -.- .. -.. -.. .. -. —.
5. Is that a rifle? .. … / -…. .- / .- / .-. .. ..- .-.. . ..—..
6. SOS …—-…
the most useful of course is SOS. Please fill free to write it down somewhere so that you can use it in case of emergency like being dropped in the ocean and asked to swim. I also learned to spell my name; Tatiana ─. — —. —.. .— —. .—
Now of course it is the waiting game but I have completed my part. If my neighbors across from me answer back with the morse code I would be super impressed and would like them more (so far I don’t like them as they never say hi and ask me to keep my dog away from their dog on the street when passing by. I laugh all the time as Opee does not give a shit about their dog and passes with no problems. But their dog yaps like crazy at him. Maybe he needs more attention or maybe he is just crazy).
That concludes today. Till tomorrow.
